JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Part-time Sysco Selector or as we like to refer them, Industrial Athlete, you will handle an average of 1,500 cases per shift, with each case weighing around 30 pounds and some weighing up to 70 pounds. The role is highly physical — you’ll be walking, standing, stretching, and bending constantly, often covering more than 10 kilometers in a single shift. Because the work is repetitive, the ideal candidate is self-motivated and enjoys challenging themselves. The hours typically appeal to night owls, with shifts usually starting early afternoon and ending early morning.
Responsibilities:
Hand-select orders within various warehouse environments with fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer areas.
Operate the Sysco Order Selection (SOS) unit to scan and create labels, ensuring labels are correctly placed on products.
