Join Alberta Surgical Group as an Orthopedic Technician/LPN Clinic Nurse in Edmonton, Alberta. This role focuses on patient care, documentation, and surgical support within a modern surgical facility.
As an enthusiastic Orthopedic Technician/LPN Clinic Nurse, you'll play an integral role in enhancing patient experiences. Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure safety and effective care. Your responsibilities include patient scheduling, documentation, and applying casts, while receiving support from management for work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule patient appointments and complete WCB paperwork
• Respond to patient inquiries over the phone
• Prepare clinic and surgical documents as needed
• Apply, adjust, and remove casts, splints, and braces
• Assist with wound care and sutures removal
Requirements:
• Completed LPN education and Orthopedic Technician program
• Current registration with CLHA
• Minimum 3 years experience in casting
