Part Time Optometrist Position
Position Description :
Performs eye examinations and vision tests to determine the presence of visual, ocular and other abnormalities, and prescribes lenses, other optical aids or therapy.
Essential position requirements
- Be able to demonstrate ability in providing outstanding patient care;
- Have successfully completed appropriate tertiary studies in Optometry;
- Be registered and licenced with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency / Optometry Board of Australia;
- Coach, train and mentor other Optical department employees;
- Exercise discretion and confidentiality with all patient information.
- Work with latest equipment (OCT / Retinal Camera and visual fields)
