**POSITION SUMMARY:** Within a business unit, the Operations Manager Polymer Center is responsible for managing the Sorting, Grinding, Washing, and other production activities in a Polymer Center. The position manages a team of Operations Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisors, Operations Clerks, Equipment Operators, and Sorters who are responsible for efficient operation of the Polymer Center. The Operations Manager works with his or her General Manager and other managers in the business unit to execute a strategy for the marketing of plastic flake and baled products locally or nationally that complements the Polymer Center’s overall strategic plan and implements tactical initiatives to drive functional excellence and budget achievement. The Operations Manager oversees all matters related to Polymer Center operations and maintenance, oversees effective safety and accident prevention programs, and leads all operations to ensure compliance with standards.
