Job Description
Primary Objective of the Position
Safe and timely processing of cargo and aircraft loading/offloading within prescribed parameters.
Essential Position Functions
- Loading and offloading of aircrafts and trucks.
- Operating ground support equipment.
- Repeated and continuous lifting of packages up to 60 lbs.
- Sorting packages based on customer, airport of destination, and other parameters.
- Communicating piece counts and package information to Lead Hands and Supervisors.
- Handling customer packages and freight with due care and attention.
- Ensuring all safety and security protocols are adhered to.
- Performing general housekeeping duties as required.
- Performing tasks associated with Dangerous Goods handling/acceptance.
- Meeting time‑sensitive deadlines for freight build‑up/breakdown as part of a team dynamic.
