Job Description
PE Global is currently recruiting for an experienced Semi-Skilled Operator – Rubber Shop to join our manufacturing client based in Manchester. This role is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension or permanency. The pay rate for this position is £14.78 per hour plus a 30% shift allowance.
Shift Pattern:
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out tube preparation duties including degreasing, blasting, and bond application
- Perform stator moulding duties within autoclave, REP, and transfer moulding sections
- Complete stator stamping, spraying, and dispatch activities
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the work area
- Ensure equipment and work areas are kept clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance
- Contribute to quality and safety improvement initiatives and meetings
- Carry out additional work-related tasks in line with business requirements
