Job Description
Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric certificate. Valid forklift licence/certification. Relevant manufacturing or production-related training will be advantageous. 1 year proven work experience in Nonwovens machinery/similar. Minimum 12 years experience in a manufacturing, extrusion, fibreline, plastics, or production environment. Experience operating production machinery and balers preferred. Experience working with polymer materials is advantageous. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures accurately. Key Responsibilities: Follow work instructions for start-up, running, and shutdown of the production line. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, raw materials, and safety devices Check emergency stops and safety devices for functionality before operation Ensure that raw material is loaded according to the feeding procedures Monitor the machine closely, identify wraps on the godet, and remove them.
