POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for leading employees to ensure customer satisfaction by moving all shipments on time and damage free while observing regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Foster a safe working environmentĀ 
• Working with internal stakeholdersĀ 
• Provide overall direction and support to internal stakeholders, including but not limited to selection, development, assigning daily tasks, performance management, mentoring, cross-training and other supervisory activities.
• Plan and communicate daily loads to ensure freight is picked-up and delivered on time and damage-free
• Communicate with contractors/drivers and account managers, to ensure the customer and company’s needs are metĀ 
• Plan daily manpower needs to ensure customer’s freight is delivered and picked-up timely and damage free
