Operations Superintendent

Reporting to the Mill Manager, the Operations Superintendent is a senior level role responsible for ensuring the safe execution of all business objectives, including meeting milling production targets, metallurgical targets, budget/financial targets, rail activities (ore-haul), and concentrate shipping.

Key Responsibilities

• Promotion of IRS and ensuring HSEC objectives for Kidd Operations employees are met.
• Implementing improvement strategies to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded.
• Coordinating with the Maintenance Superintendent to ensure appropriate time is afforded for preventative maintenance strategies.
• Working with the Lead Metallurgist to ensure that the operation both maximizes and optimizes metallurgical results, while meeting budget levels of consumption of reagents and media.
