Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position with the U.S. Special Operations Command (Army), Strategic Systems Support Element located in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Responsibilities Serve as an Operations Specialist within the Battalion. Prepare, formulate, coordinate, and staff a wide variety of administrative and operational correspondence, reports, messages, studies, and staff papers as required. Provide guidance on analysis of requirements as well as their translation and implementation into computer software and hardware that can be employed on the battlefield.
