Main Purpose
To supervise and coordinate WSMD operations across the full commodity handling cycle — including receipt, conditioning, blending, and shipping — ensuring all activities are executed in compliance with Trafigura's operational standards, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.
Operational Controller Role
The Operational Controller acts as the primary on-the-ground point of control, responsible for the accuracy of weight and quality determinations, the integrity of outturn reporting, and the effective coordination between warehouses, laboratories, and third‑party surveyors. The role plays a critical part in minimising operational risk, ensuring timely execution of instructions, and maintaining the quality of data that feeds into commercial and financial decisions.
