Operating Theatre Booking Coordinator

This role is responsible for managing theatre bookings, coordinating surgical schedules with surgeons and anesthesiologists, confirming patient appointments, verifying insurance approvals, and ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders to maximize operating room utilization and deliver an outstanding patient experience.

  • Coordinate and manage operating theatre bookings and daily surgical schedules.
  • Liaise with surgeons, anesthesiologists, theatre managers, and clinical teams to ensure smooth scheduling of procedures.
  • Contact patients to confirm surgery dates, arrival times, and pre-operative requirements.
  • Verify insurance approvals and ensure all necessary documentation is in place.
