Oncology Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT)

Reports to: Lead Specialty RVT Department: Oncology Status: Full-Time Permanent (40 hours per week)
Prerequisites
- Active member of the ABVMA and ABVTA
- Ability to lift 50 lbs (22 kg)
- A desire to grow the RVT profession
- Background knowledgeorpreviousexperience withoncology, chemotherapy treatments, and specialty medicine considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent attention to detail whilemaintainingefficiency
- Strong technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthetic monitoring
- Proficient withanesthesiamonitoring equipment (ECG, pulse oximetry, capnography)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicationand critical thinking skills
