Job Description
Transform engineering designs into fabrication drawings as an AutoCAD Drafter at our Welland facility. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and fabrication teams to deliver precision work.
We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafter with a minimum of five years in a fabrication environment. Candidates should have strong AutoCAD 2D skills and the ability to create General Arrangement (GA) drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, and Bills of Material (BOMs). A background in sheet metal and pipe fabrication is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings from design inputs
• Create GA drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, and BOMs
• Prepare drawing packages for manufacturing
• Collaborate with teams to ensure drawing accuracy
• Communicate revisions with fabrication personnel
