Job Description
Become an integral part of our logistics team as an Ocean Freight Import Coordinator. This role focuses on managing ocean import processes while working in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for all aspects of ocean freight operations, including tracking, routing, and documentation preparation. Your experience in pricing and ability to work cross-culturally will be key in executing duties effectively. Collaboration with warehouse staff and internal teams will ensure seamless material handling and communication. Strong multitasking skills will allow you to prioritize work effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and track ocean freight entries efficiently
• Negotiate costs and oversee invoicing for shipments
• Collaborate with warehouse teams for proper handling
• Prepare job costing and status reports thoroughly
• Maintain effective communication with clients and vendors
