Occupational Therapy Assistant in Acute Stroke Unit (Fixed Term)

We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to come and join our team at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. We are looking to employ a dynamic, compassionate and aspirational individual for the role of Occupational Therapy Assistant in our Acute Stroke Unit team, as a fixed-term post for 12 months to cover maternity leave. You will work as part of the Acute Stroke Unit Therapy Team, supporting functional assessment, rehabilitation and discharge planning to patients during their inpatient stay. The successful applicant will be passionate about delivering high quality patient care and outcomes. You will require excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients, their relatives / carers and the multidisciplinary team.
