Job Summary Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN physician to join our Laborist team in Federal Way, WA, a Seattle suburb. The successful candidate will work 7 onsite 24‑hour shifts per month, providing 24‑hour labor and delivery coverage and coordinating with CNMs and ER for gynecologic emergencies and surgeries. Responsibilities Provide 24‑hour onsite labor and delivery coverage on 7 shifts per month. Collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and support emergency GYN coverage in the Emergency Room. Manage high‑risk obstetric cases, perform cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, D&Cs, laparoscopies, and hysteroscopies. Assist during surgeries and provide peri‑operative care in partnership with the MFM, urogynecologists, and gynecologic oncologists. Schedule Seven (7) 24‑hour onsite shifts per month.
