Job Description
Role Purpose
The NVH Product Engineer is responsible for the product-side ownership of NVH performance on the assigned programme(s) covering root-cause analysis, design countermeasures, customer interface and feedback loop into CAE / ETC.
The role reports hierarchically to the NVH Supervisor and works in matrix with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Testing, Quality, CAE / ETC and Global product owners. The Product Engineer is the technical authority on NVH product behaviour for the assigned scope, complementary to the NVH Testing Coordinator who owns the testing side.
Key Responsibilities
Product NVH Ownership
- Owns NVH product performance for the assigned programme
- Drives root-cause analysis on NVH defects and abnormal patterns
- Defines and validates design countermeasures together with CAE, ETC and Global product owners.
