Purpose of the Role
The Nursing Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the nursing service across the hospital. This senior role is accountable for patient safety, the quality of the patient experience, and the effective management of human and material resources.
The incumbent sets the nursing vision for the facility, translates it into executable plans, and ensures that clinical excellence and compassionate care remain central to all nursing activities.
Duties and Responsibilities Compile, implement and continuously monitor a hospital-specific nursing strategy aligned to the organisational objectives. Translate strategic nursing goals into measurable operational plans and performance targets. Report on nursing strategy progress to executive leadership and recommend adjustments as required.
