For this profile, years of practice is the primary filter. Your clinical background can be broad ? hospital, community, long-term care, or mixed. What matters most is your depth of Ontario nursing experience and your professional standing.
Must-Haves:
- MINIMUM 12 years of RN practice ? total career years, all settings count
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing ? RN diploma or BScN
- CNO registered, in good standing ? no pending hearings or conditions
- Broad knowledge of Ontario health legislation from years of Ontario practice: PHIPA, RHPA, HCCA, Ontario Hospitals Act No
- CNO disciplinary history
- Current BLS / BCLS / CPR certification ? Level C, Health Care Provider
- Legal right to work in Canada
- Available for in-person assignments ? this is not remote work
