Job Description
- Assist the Assistant Director, Nursing Education & Training in planning, coordinating, and implementing nursing education, training, and professional development programmes.
- Assist in developing and reviewing training curricula based on clinical practice and training needs.
- Assess nurses' competencies regularly to ensure they meet professional and quality nursing standards.
- Identify training needs and support the delivery of education and competency development programmes.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programmes and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to nurses in their professional development.
- Conduct performance appraisals for junior staff within the department.
- Diploma/Degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Post-basic Specialty Certificate in Nursing Education or Masters in Nursing Education is an added advantage.
