Job Description
Job Purpose
To provide a key role in the provision of the comprehensive clinical Nuclear pharmacy service. The work of the Nuclear pharmacy includes preparing and quality control of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and clinical. The post‑holder will play an active role in the supervising/supporting junior staff in the day‑to‑day operation. The post‑holder is required to work to extremely high standards of accuracy and safety and at times will be expected to work alone. The post‑holder will be required to work closely with the Nuclear Medicine team to ensure the smooth running of Nuclear pharmacy service.
Core Duties
- Procure and ensure proper and safe storage of all radiopharmaceuticals and associated materials/consumables and its final products; ensuring inventory control of stocks in the unit is within an acceptable turnover.
