Summary

The College of Engineering (Mechanical) seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for potential employment in future Adjunct Instructor positions, at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU). This is a non-tenure track, part-time (less than 50% effort) position, and responsibilities are limited to teaching the courses listed in this posting.

What you need to know

Salary: Compensation is on a per-course basis and based on factors such as academic discipline, faculty credentialing, experience, etc. Minimum pay is commensurate depending on education and experience.

Selected applicants for the current academic year may teach up to 7 undergraduate/graduate level Semester Credit Hours (SCH) in an assigned semester (less than 50% FTE), within the required discipline, as dictated by student demand during the available semester(s).
