Job Description

Job Summary

Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial roofs using a variety of materials. Work includes shingling, membrane application, flashing installation and strict adherence to workplace safety procedures.

Main Duties

• Install and replace roofing materials such as asphalt shingles, metal panels, and membrane systems according to specifications
• Measure, cut and shape roofing materials and components to ensure proper fit and water-tight installation
• Inspect roofs to assess damage, determine repair needs, and prepare material lists and estimates
• Install flashing, vents, gutters and roof penetrations to prevent water infiltration
• Remove old roofing materials, prepare roof surfaces, and perform site cleanup and debris disposal
