Job Description

Job Summary

Install, finish, and repair plaster, drywall and lath systems for residential and commercial projects. Ensure surfaces are prepared and finished to meet quality and safety standards.

Main Duties

• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall panels, lath, corner beads and related materials.
• Apply plaster, joint compound and tape, perform sanding and finishing to specified textures and smoothness.
• Prime, touch up and prepare surfaces for painting or other finishes as required.
• Repair and replace damaged plaster and drywall, patching holes and restoring surfaces.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and layout plans to determine work procedures and material requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment, keep work areas clean, and follow workplace health and safety procedures.
