Operate cranes to lift, move and place materials safely on construction and industrial sites. Perform equipment inspections and coordinate with rigging crews to ensure efficient lifting operations.

Main Duties
- Operate tower, mobile, or overhead cranes to hoist, lower and position materials according to lift plans and load charts.
- Perform pre-operational inspections, routine maintenance checks, and report mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.
- Interpret load charts, rigging plans and basic technical drawings to determine rigging and lifting requirements.
- Communicate with riggers, signal persons and site supervisors to coordinate lifts and maintain site safety.
- Set up and secure crane components, outriggers and hoisting equipment following manufacturer guidelines and site procedures.
