Job Summary

Provide technical support for diagnostic laboratory testing and specimen management. Perform routine specimen collection, processing, and documentation while adhering to laboratory safety and quality standards.

• Collect patient specimens using venipuncture, capillary puncture, urine collection, and other approved methods while verifying patient identity and labels.
• Process, prepare and aliquot specimens for testing, centrifuge samples, and prepare slides or media as required.
• Operate, calibrate and perform routine maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform quality control checks, document results, and report any discrepancies to supervisory staff.
