Job Description
The Strathcona Hotel, in the heart of beautiful Victoria British Columbia is looking to hire a reliable, mature and energetic individual to join our Front Desk team.
Our ideal candidate enjoys working with others and thrives to deliver a positive and pleasant experience to our guests.You must be dependable, organized and enjoy both clerical duties and customer relations.
Previous accounting experience is not mandatory.
Shift hours: 11:30pm to 7:30am
Availability is required for: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights - flexibility is a requisite
Duties and Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Check-in late night arrivals
- Check-out early morning departures
- Create new reservations for walk in guests, and create, modify, and cancel reservations for future stays
- Answer telephone enquiries about the hotel and attached venues
