**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As a Neurodiagnostic Tech, you'll perform specialized tests like EEGs, providing crucial data for diagnosing neurological conditions.
Every day you'll prepare patients, monitor neurological activity, manage equipment, and process data for physician review.
To be successful in this role, you need strong technical skills, neuroanatomy knowledge, and problem-solving abilities. Compassionate care, attention to detail, and effective communication are paramount for accurate diagnoses.
+ Perform accurate standard and complex EEG recordings at the bedside and in the laboratory on a routine, emergency and onβcall basis to adolescent, adult and elderly patients.
+ Performs evoked potentials and nerve conduction studies.
+ Performs specialized monitoring procedures which may include but not limited to: Epilepsy monitoring, Intraoperative monitoring EEG, Electrocorticography, Awake Craniotomy, Wada testing, brain mappin...
