Job Description
Collaborate with the sales team to assess customer requirements and recommend suitable satellite communication solutions based on vessel size and data usage needs.
Design onboard communication networks that integrate seamlessly with the proposed satellite solutions.
Carry out the installation and configuration of IT networks onboard vessels, including LAN setup, switch and router configuration, firewall settings, and other network components in accordance with industry standards and vendor guidelines.
Handle the staging, configuration, and commissioning of customer systems and equipment to ensure successful service deployment.
Monitor, maintain, and manage all inbound and outbound network activities, including issue reporting and resolution.
Record and track customer issues through the fault ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
