Network Site Survey Engineer (Freelance)
Location: Madrid, Spain.
Scope of Work
- Site Access and Security Register entry, comply with local protocols, note escort requirements.
- Location Documentation Capture GPS coordinates, photograph main demarcation point, record comms room location.
- Cable Route Measurement Measure distance between demarcation point and comms room.
- Network Rack Assessment Record rack details (ID, height, occupied/free U, device types), check stability, capture photos.
- Floor Space and Power Readiness Measure floor area, verify power feeds, UPS, cooling, grounding.
- Network Device Inventory Record WAN/LAN devices, ports, interfaces, patch panels.
- Compliance and Operational Checks Note change freeze dates, compliance standards, access control, delivery capabilities, language preferences, risks.
