Job Description
The job
of Network Engineer is done for the purpose/s of the overall design, implementation, management, security and maintenance of the networking infrastructure used throughout the district. Their duties include designing and supporting networking systems and related software. They provide support for the day-today operation of the network, training other team members on proper deployment methods, network troubleshooting, and best practices. They work closely with the Security Engineer to ensure we meet proper compliance of their supported systems following the Information Technology guidelines. This person may also be required to write test plans, integration plans, and guides for technologies and services being deployed. They may be asked to assist the Network Architect in planning new network systems and the potential analyzing impact on existing resources.
