Job Description: The client is seeking an expert Network Administrator to support the DOT Transportation Safety Management and Operations (TSMO) Technology Program. The role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operation of enterprise IT and OT network infrastructure supporting traffic signals and transportation systems. The ideal candidate will provide advanced troubleshooting, architecture support, L3 technical support, vendor coordination, remote technician guidance, network monitoring, and security compliance in a large distributed network environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues for DOT Traffic Signals and Traffic Management Centers (TMCs)
- Architect and recommend network technology improvements aligned with ITS standards
