Neonatologist Opening Elmira, NYLocated in Elmira, New YorkFull-Time, Permanent Practice Overview Full-time Neonatologist opportunity in Elmira, New York Join an established neonatal team at the region's only Regional Perinatal Center Practice in a 20-bed Level III NICU with approximately 1,500 annual deliveries, nearly 300 NICU admissions, and an average daily census of 13 Äì15 patients Provide care for critically ill and premature newborns utilizing conventional ventilation and High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) Approximately 15 Äì20% of NICU admissions are neonatal transports from surrounding regional hospitals Work alongside experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners providing 24-hour in-house coverage, transport support, and attendance at high-risk deliveries Strong collaboration with Maternal-Fetal Medicine and pediatric subspecialists Excellent nursing support and multidisciplinary neonatal care team Block scheduling provides excellent work-life b...
