To perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques on components, pipework and structural assemblies to assess compliance with applicable specifications and acceptance criteria.
Functions
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential (Post NDT Training)
- Undertake Visual Testing (VT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Eddy Current Testing (ET) techniques to components requiring inspection.
- Ensure that work area is safe to carry out NDT activities.
- Undertake Risk Assessments/Take 2 as required.
- Ensure inspection is undertaken within the parameters of the applicable specification.
