Job Description
Position: Multiskilled Operative
Salary: £36,846.07 per annum (plus Veolia benefits and pension)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week (07:00am – 04:30pm)
Location: Nathan Way, Thamesmead, SE280AB
Responsibilities
- Compliance with all Health and Safety / Veolia policies and procedures.
- Safe operation of the site, inclusive of personnel, and static/mobile equipment.
- Compliance with the Site Licence and Management contract.
- Control of traffic in/out of the RDF.
- Monitor the quality of products to ensure that they meet pre‑set specifications.
- Feed RDF shredder with material using loading shovel or 360 excavator.
- Extraction of recyclable material from incoming waste.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as required by site management.
Qualifications
- Wheeled Loading Shovel certificate.
- 360 Excavator certificate.
