Job Description
Enhance patient care in Lethbridge, Alberta, as a part-time MRI Technologist at Chinook Regional Hospital. Contribute to the Diagnostic Imaging team while enjoying a great work-life balance.
This 0.5 FTE position allows a dedicated MRI Technologist I to produce high-quality diagnostic images essential for patient diagnosis and monitoring. You will prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring a supportive environment throughout the scanning process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce and record MRI images for Radiologist interpretation
• Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations
• Review patient history and explain procedures clearly
• Respond to patients’ physical and psychological needs
• Maintain MRI equipment functionalities and cleanliness
Requirements:
• Diploma from accredited MRI Program or equivalent
• Registration eligibility with CAMRT
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
