Job Description
Join OSM Thome as a Motorman / Oiler on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. Be part of a solid engine team, keeping the vessel’s machinery running safely and efficiently.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist engineers with operation and routine maintenance of main engine and auxiliaries
- Carry out oiling, greasing, cleaning and keeping engine room watch as assigned
- Monitor machinery, report any abnormalities and support repairs
- Follow safety and environmental procedures at all times
- **Requirements**:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler STCW certificate and relevant national seaman’s documents
- Previous experience in the engine department, preferably on bulk carriers
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
