**Amentum** is seeking a **Motor Pool Mechanic** located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Mechanic will repair, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors.
**Job Requirements:**
+ Remove, install, and replace parts; troubleshoot, repair, modify, and overhaul vehicles and equipment
+ Replacing worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts
+ Grinding and adjusting valves
+ Rebuilding carburetors
+ Overhauling transmissions
+ Repairing fuel injection, lighting, and ignition systems.
+ Follow maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical drawings; ensure vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards
