Modified Structures Mechanic

Maintain, repair, and modify structures, structural components, controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components of intermediate to complex difficulty.

Perform sheet metal fabrication, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly using pneumatic tools and close tolerance dimensions.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, engineering dispositions, and repair manuals to develop repairs.

Install Hi-Lok fasteners and perform riveting, drilling, bend reduction, and rivet pattern work.

Troubleshoot discrepancies during normal operations and On Ground (OG) situations.

Document work in logs, records, and systems; maintain clean, safe work areas per company procedures.

Provide technical guidance to Level I technicians and comply with the Repair Station Quality Manual and Erickson's Values Charter.
