Overview
Mobile Crisis Response Worker (Registered Health Care Professional) with the Canadian Mental Health Association, Kenora Branch, works with the Ontario Provincial Police to respond to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. The role is embedded with the Sioux Lookout OPP detachment and supports mobile crisis response for individuals of all ages in Sioux Lookout and remote communities in the Northern Sub-Region. The worker completes comprehensive mental health assessments, links individuals to appropriate services, and provides follow-up within 24 hours of the initial crisis intervention. Reports to the Chief Executive Officer, CMHA Kenora Branch.
