Job Description
CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our Technical Services team at Cape Preston. This is a permanent 8/6 FIFO opportunity from Perth, supporting the construction of a large-scale Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) at Sino Iron.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a significant construction project while utilising modern survey technologies in a complex operational environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide survey support across the construction phase of the TSF project
- Carry out daily and weekly survey pickups and set-outs
- Establish and maintain survey control for construction works
- Support Technical Services and project teams with accurate survey data
- Complete volume calculations and end-of-month reporting
- Monitor prism systems to support safe construction activities
