Job Description
Help shape the future of mining as a Mine Planner at Agnico Eagle's Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON. Focus on planning, design meetings, and daily operations.
Reporting to the Senior NSUR Planning Engineer, you will support the Engineering Department in producing and updating mining plans. Key functions include the development of layouts and coordination with various departments to ensure regulatory compliance. Your role will also encompass monitoring drilling rates and providing training support to the Survey team.
Key Responsibilities: • Produce development and stope layouts accurately • Ensure compliance with OHSA and Reg. 854 • Coordinate plans with various engineering departments • Provide training for the Survey team • Update levels based on mining needs
Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering • At least two years in an operating mine • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications • Experience in underground hard-rock mining environme...
