Mine Planner (Grading C4) Job specification Matric certificate (with math and science) Diploma in Mining Engineering or related qualification Advance certificate in Drafting, Mine RP, Mine Design & Scheduling 4–5 years’ experience in mine planning Exposure to surface and/or underground mining operations (advantageous) Basic understanding of mine planning principles and production processes Proficiency in mine planning software (e.g. Mine RP CAD and Microstation) Computer literacy (Advanced MS Excel) Proficient in English and any other of 11 official languages South African driver’s license South African Citizenship Clear Criminal Record Medically fit for work in a mining environment Responsibilities Develop short-term mine schedules, layouts, and sequencing to support safe and efficient operational execution.
