Our client is seeking an experienced and analytical Mine Planner to join their team in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for mine planning, scheduling, pit design, optimisation and supporting effective production planning within an open pit mining environment. MINE PLANNER Griekwastad / Postmasburg area, Northern Cape Requirements Degree or Diploma in Mining / Planning / Survey stream. Mine Overseer Certificate of Competency will be advantageous. Blasting Certificate will be advantageous. Additional mine planning or scheduling certifications, such as Deswik, Surpac or MineSched, will be advantageous. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mine planning within an open pit mining environment. Proven experience in short-term, medium-term and long-term mine planning.
