Mine Manager (Open Cast)

Minimum Requirements: Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency (MMCC) (Metalliferous Mines) Mandatory . Degree or National Diploma in Mining Engineering or a related mining qualification. Minimum of 8 years' experience in mining operations, with at least 3 years in a Mine Manager role within an open cast mining environment. Proven experience in open cast chrome mining. Eligible for appointment as the Mine Manager in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) . Sound knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA), Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA), and relevant mining regulations. Valid South African driver's licence. Advantageous Previous experience in chrome mining operations. Experience managing mining contractors. Exposure to mine planning and budgeting.
