You will work for a well established manufacturing company in Alberton across electrical and mechanical systems, extrusion and forming machinery, planned maintenance, breakdowns and improvement projectswhile maintaining the strict BRC compliance standards essential to packaging operations. Duties / Key Responsibilities Perform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults quickly and accurately Maintain PVC, PET and styrene extrusion and forming machinery Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, VSDs, PLCs and control systems Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime Inspect machinery, equipment and facility infrastructure Assist with projects, planning and drawings for electrical spares Participate in standby duties on a roster basis Maintain BRC compliance across hazard management, cleaning records, foreign-body controls, glass and brittle-plastic controls, document control and file management Requirements 36 years maintenanc...
