Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of mechanical engineering tasks including planned maintenance of assets, repairs to assets, installations, and plant improvements.
• Work to comply with risk management standards such as H&S and statutory regulations.
• Maintain full compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
• Operate on a non‑continuous shift pattern with flexibility to cover out‑of‑hours breakdowns.
• Ensure day‑to‑day running of all mechanical assets.
• Update records using the computerized maintenance system.
• Report safety challenges and/or quality problems to management.
• Willingness to upgrade certain skills, including learning distillery processes and equipment, as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven mechanical aptitude and ability to perform maintenance activities required of the position.
