Job Description
Serve as a Military Chaplain with the Canadian Armed Forces, providing essential spiritual care and support to service members and their families. Participate in significant ceremonies and offer compassionate guidance.
In this role, a Chaplain is responsible for the spiritual and pastoral care of individuals across all branches of the Canadian Armed Forces. This requires an ordained individual holding a Graduate-level degree and a minimum of two years of leadership experience. Success in this position involves advising on spiritual dilemmas and liaising with diverse faith traditions in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer personal and supportive presence to CAF members
• Officiate military and community ceremonies and functions
• Provide counsel on spiritual and ethical issues
• Connect with civilian faith leaders for additional resources
• Refer troops to healthcare professionals as necessary
