Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking applicants for a Full-Time Security Guard. This position is Monday-Friday from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. (including holidays). The selected candidate will staff the Visitor Center, issue badges, respond to alarms and emergencies, maintain the security of the SDL campus, and monitor CCTV systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Greeting and assisting visitors
+ Processing visitors and issuing security badges
+ Updating visit logs daily and scanning and attaching check-in form to the visit log
+ Answering phones
+ Monitoring CCTV systems
+ Issuing parking permits
+ Ensuring security protocol is followed
+ Conducting security patrols on foot
+ Responding to alarms and emergencies
+ Providing assistance as needed during emergency response
